The location of this resort is excellent, just a short stroll away from the beautiful Ao Nang beach. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity, providing a wide range of dining options. the rooms at Cha Wan Resort are of a high standard, with nice furnishings and comfortable beds, as mentioned in one of the reviews. the hotel offers free internet and WiFi, making it convenient to stay connected.
One aspect that could be improved is the breakfast. One reviewer mentioned that it was average, but thankfully, there are plenty of good food options just a short walk away from the resort.

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. The room was spacious with a huge bathroom and a big terrace where to cool off after a day out. The staff was also very helpful. Definitely one of the best resorts where we have stayed.
Only downside was perhaps that it takes about 15mins to walk to the beaches and that there weren't too many taxis/tuktuks around this area waiting for passengers. Also most of the drivers did not know where this place was located. On the other hand the resort was very peaceful and quiet.

Great new year deal for a luxury stay. the spacious rooms offered a private outdoor space to enjoy breakfast delivered directly to the room. Conveniently located near street food stalls and within walking distance to the beach.
The hotel was rundown and smelled musty, with poor maintenance of amenities such as TV and internet. the balcony view was obstructed by barbed wire and the front desk service lacked enthusiasm and initiative.

The spaciousness of the room that enabled our family of four to stay together.
1. The hardness of the bed. 2. The American and Continental breakfast- the juice though stated to be fresh, was obviously from cordial. The pancake was not done right at all. 3. The lack of and inconsistent water pressure in the bath tub.

Lovely setting and architecture; good combination of adult and kids' swimming pools; intimate (only ten rooms I think - built almost as self-contained bungalows really high-end bungalows built ); and lovely, friendly staff for whom no effort was too much. Very relaxed and personal.
It takes about 10-15 mins to walk to the sea front - but we nipped up and down in the car so that wasn't an issue. But you're very close to ther Lay-Ley Grill restaurant, which offers superb food with stuinning views.

This hotel offers great value for money with its spacious rooms and large bathrooms. Each room comes with a separate toilet and bathroom, adding a touch of luxury. The nice terrace is perfect for enjoying breakfast, which is included in the price. The staff is attentive and the location, just a short walk from the main street, offers stunning views of the glittering sea.
All was perfect - nothing to complain about.

Very large room
Location is not ideal...a bit too far up the road. Seems a bit secluded. Would have stayed at the modern hotel down the road, had we known.

Cha Wan is an little oasis in touristy Ao Nang. I enjoyed the spaciousthai style villa rooms, the garden plants, fish ponds and the small swimming pool. It's a small hotel with only 9 rooms with private terraces. The room was very nice (wooden floor and king size bed). The breakfast is very good, you can choose a Thai, continental or American breakfast.
The complementary WiFi often does not work.

Spent Xmas in a small hotel with great value for money, including two on-site restaurants and a nice pool. Our room was spacious, and the bath was a highlight, just like in the pictures we saw online. The location was convenient, close to the beach and to some dining options, and also quiet enough. We appreciated that the hotel had a scooter rental option and that the staff was helpful in arranging that for us.
The breakfast was nothing special, with just a few options and seemed overpriced. , there were limited sun loungers around the pool, so often we had to sit on the ground, not great for relaxing on our Xmas break.

Quiet and nice hotel in Ao Nang beach. Really comfortable and clean. Good location, but not in the middle of the crowd.
